CBD: Will you please tell me a few words about jockey and what are your marketing policies?

Brad: Jockey is a company of hundred and thirty years old and we are the leading department store seller of men's underwear in United States and also one of the top three in women's underwear. Our products are marketed in over a 140 countries all over the world. We have a global marketing program so we use the same standard, same packaging and basically the same products globally.

CBD: What is the specialty of your product that gives you an advantage over the other manufactures?

Brad: We're known for comfort and innovation so our customers come back for repeat buying and we're leader rather than the follower.

CBD: You source your products from different countries in that case how do you go with the compliance issue?

Brad: We require all of our direct suppliers to be WWRAP certified or equivalent this means that their factories have been inspected by an outside agency a third party who has insured that the factories or companies have complied with local laws and maintains working conditions that are conducive for the betterment of their employees.

CBD: Have you ever sourced anything from Bangladesh?

Brad: Jockey international is not buying anything directly from Bangladesh but has bought through its licensees. As Bangladeshi industries are evolving and there are more factories that have WWRAP certification, jockey will certainly look at Bangladesh as a supplying country.

CBD: What is your plan for future promotional activities of fibermax?

Monty: We have been very successful and very pleased with our efforts so far having the Singapore summit where we're able to bring in key participants and guests from particularly the mill industry and also from the fashion industries to meet the growers. We would like to continue the summit but in a smaller scale at the regional level where we can have more personalized interaction within the guests and get clarifications from the fiber max experts..

CBD: What is the response of this conference?

Monty:
The response of this conference I would say was outstanding. This conference in particular is the first time we brought the fashion element or the retail side of the business. Last year we did bring growers and millers but this year we came up with a nice package of growers, spinners and also the people from fashion world, in other words from growers to the end users of Fiber max.

CBD: How was the conference?

Cathy: I think it was very successful we were able to get the key players in the market place and they were all here together and you could tell by there interaction during networking times that it was a very popular event for them and they enjoyed spending their time with us.

CBD: How many attendees were there?

Cathy: There were 152 attendees this year so we're a little higher than last year's 135; we were able to gather people from Vietnam, Korea, Pakistan, Indonesia and the Philippines. A variety of the entire textile agents were here and the merchants so we felt like we had a really qualified crowd to listen to our messages this time. We had almost 20 people from Vietnam this time so they shared a huge amount of interest and attended the entire conference from start to finish so we were really excited about that.

CBD: What is the plan for the fourth conference?

Cathy: It should primarily be at the same time in June for us. We're hoping to gather almost the same number of people. We're looking into Bangkok as next year's destination.

CBD: How was the conference?

Brent: I think it was a very successful conference. We went further down the marketing channel then we have in the past. This time we had a very diverse agenda. We had the farmers here, spinning mills representatives and also had representatives from fashion arena, so I was very excited about the meeting.

CBD: What are the achievements that FiberMax has got after three consecutive conferences?

Brent: I think the biggest achievement is that we're continuing to increase the knowledge and awareness of fibermax and particularly the certification program. I think this third year really and finally brought the message together to the spinner that we are in fact global and that they can buy the certified fibermax brand from different countries and still end up with a very same consistent high quality product.
