We seek for a junior level editorial position which is expected to provide supports for strong and inspiring leaderships together with strategic direction for this world-class magazine. The position is also expected to explore new direction for the magazine while maintaining the existing emphasis on scholarly and research excellence on the matters that influence the textile industry of Bangladesh and the world.

The candidate is expected to have a strong command in English language with track records of publishing articles and research papers in the fields of marketing, economics, industry, business and social sciences. The candidate must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of publishing industries and ability to work with scholars and industry leaders at home and abroad. The candidate must have enthusiasm and passion for Cotton Bangladesh together with the vision for developing its role in a worldwide context. The position is required to operate computers and office software and be proficient in electronic communications. The ideal candidate should have at least Masters or equivalent degree from a recognized University at home or abroad with 5/7 years working experience in relevant field. Candidates with MBA (Major in Finance) background will get preference. The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate should have at least a graduation or equivalent degree. Sound knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw will be compulsory. Confident in 3D Studio Max, Maya & Macromedia Flash will be given preference. 2/3 years working experience in any Productions/Advertising agency or any Electronic Media is required. Candidates with Diploma in Graphics Design or Creative Multimedia background will get preference.

The ideal candidate should have at least a graduation or equivalent degree with 2/3 years working experience in any relevant field. Candidates with Computer Sciences background or have diploma will get preference. Sound knowledge on Linux (Apache, Storage, ftp, mail server configure) and Cisco router & gateway (CCNA Certified). Must be skilled on SQL / MySQL server, TCP/IP and Administering Windows Server, Active Directory and MS Exchange Server.

The ideal candidate should have at least a graduation or equivalent degree with 2/3 years working experience in any relevant field. Candidates with Computer Sciences background or have Programming diploma will get preference. Must be skill in JSP and PHP coding and have knowledge in JDBC/MySQL, PHP/MySQL, Macromedia Flash, Fireworks/Dreamweaver. Experienced in ASP development, CSS (Expert User), Fast Java coder/Visual Basic.
